Have a baby or a toddler on your holiday shopping list? You might want to take a look at the new Fisher-Price Cruise and Groove Ballapalooza. While it does take a bit of time to set-up (Hint: set it up before Christmas morning!) and is kind of a space hog, it will keep your little one movin’, groovin’ and busy. It’s all about keeping baby busy, right?!?
Designed for babies 6 months to 36 months, this interactive toy encourages babies to crawl, sit and stand, developing their gross motor skills, increases hand-eye coordination, teaches cause and effect and stimulates baby’s senses.
The musical beats and sounds will keep the babies dancing and the lights are a fun touch. We are thankful that there are no specific songs that will get stuck in your head (meaning no singing!) and the volume control (off, quiet and louder!) keeps the noise level controlled. Somewhat.
Eight colorful balls are included that start the action when baby puts them into the hole at the top that sends them shooting out to hit a “trampoline” to be bounced into the winding ramps. We found our kids love this action and it keeps them busy day after day.
Even though it is a large toy that may take up more of your living room than you’d like, it is worth it because it’s great for multiple kids to play at the same time. Plus, if your baby tires of one side, move them to one of the other corners to keep the love alive!
The Fisher-Price Cruise and Groove Ballapalooza retails for $69 and is sure to be one of the hot holiday toys this season.
