Calling all Doc McStuffins fans! It’s “time for your check-up!”
My 3 year old daughter absolutely loves the show, so when a friend gifted her this Doc McStuffins Doctor’s Bag, she was overjoyed. I can honestly say that from the time she received it about two months ago, she has played with it every single day.
The bag comes with the following items: a thermometer, syringe, blood pressure cuff, otoscope, bandage cuff, sticker sheet and Doc’s magical stethoscope that lights up (some sets that are sold have a light-up only stethoscope like ours, and some have a stethoscope that makes sounds- if the sound is important to you, make sure check that you’re buying one that has it!) Everything neatly fits in the bag, and it’s light enough for her to carry.
The blood pressure cuff is small, it fits around a child’s arm, but not an adult, so she tends to check mine around my wrist. My only other issue is that the stethoscope is really tight on the ears, so my kids just wear it around their neck. Other than that, the set is so much fun, your doctor-in-training will love giving you all a diagnosis, so prepare to be checked quite often. My husband and I are now used to the phrases “Let me see if you have a fever. You do!” and “Mama, I don’t feel so good. Can you please give me a check up?” Yes, I use it too. Don’t judge.
This toy is recommended for ages and 3 and up, but my 16 month old son just loves it, and regularly comes over to check my ears and heart. It is available on Amazon at $26.95, but if you do a little searching, you can probably find it at lower price somewhere else
