Baby Gizmo Spotlight Review: Britax B-Agile 4 (+Giveaway)

Congrats to the winner -
Emily C.

There is a new four-wheel stroller from Britax hitting the streets and we have the inside scoop! The B-Agile 4 is the beloved B-Agile stroller but with the four wheels that some parents feel that they MUST have!

It has the same lightweight, aluminum frame (19 lbs), one-handed fold, easy push, large canopy and all-wheel suspension, but the B-Agile 4 rolls on FOUR wheels.

SEAT

The B-Agile 4 is a great travel stroller that sports a large seat and high weight capacity of 55 lbs. The seat measure 14″ wide, with a 20″ seat back and a measurement of 25″ from seat back to canopy. I love that an older/larger child (3-6 years old) can even hop in for a ride and still be comfortable. The seat has a 5-point, padded harness that features a no-rethread system that allows it to grow with your child. The deep recline, that can be done with the one-handed strap system, accommodates a newborn.

STORAGE

Under the seat is a large basket that is easy to access from the back or sides of the stroller. I can fit a medium to large diaper bag down there with no problem. In addition, there is a large zipper pocket on the back of the canopy for tons of parent essentials.

HANDLE

The non-adjustable handle is 39″ from ground to where you place your hands which is great for the average parent. If you are super tall, you might want to try it out first.

CANOPY

The large, two-panel canopy gives plenty of coverage and even sports a peek-a-boo window on top. I love that the window cover has magnetic closures to keep it closed, instead of the noisy Velcro that other strollers have.

WHEELS

What makes it the B-Agile 4 are the FOUR wheels, of course. Two 6″ hard rubber wheels in front and 9″ wheels in back. The front swivel wheels provide great maneuverability but have the option to lock straight for a little all-terrain. (NOTE: This is NOT an “all-terrain” stroller though!)

FOLD/UNFOLD

I’m happy to see the same easy, one-handed fold on the 4 as on the original three-wheeled B-Agile. Push the safety button on the side of the frame and grab and lift the strap in the seat. The stroller folds down easily into a very compact, easy-to-travel-with package. Weighing 19 lbs, it is great for on-the-go.

WRAP-UP

Overall, I really like the Britax B-Agile 4! It has all the great features of the original but has the four wheels that some parents swear by. The stroller is a Babies R Us exclusive (for now, I’m assuming!) and is available in Slate (gray) and Fossil Brown and retails for $279.

Now that you know how great the stroller is – it is time for a GIVEAWAY!!

I love that you don’t have to use the automatic lock anymore. It is a pain on the double to deal with especially when I have three kids to wrangle :)

I bought the original B-Agile when it very first came out 3 years ago and it is easily the best stroller on the market! It has seen better days, though, after an unfortunate incident while a friend was borrowing it :( I hope to replace it with another, updated, B-Agile 4 soon!

Love the lightweight and easy and compact fold, and the large canopy is a plus. I am expecting next week. This is what I want.

  4. Nicole-Lynn says

I like the large canopy and how easily it folds! The canopy is important for my baby as we live in Florida and having a stroller that’s easy to fold is important, too! Thanks for the opportunity!
