Some of our favorite baby gizmos!

I thought a fun story for a Friday would be some of our favorite things for baby. There are many, many baby gizmos we love but here is a just a few of them off the top of our heads just in case you were looking for a last minute baby present.

The Baby Gizmo Buying Guide — Yes, we are biased because it’s our book, but we love it just the same and so will you! You didn’t think we’d leave this off the list, did you?

JJ Cole Diapers and Wipes Caddy — This great new caddy keeps all our diaper changing necessities organized in our family room (the place where many diapers get changed).

Bebe au Lait Nursing Cover — Love that this stays in place and allows us to keep our modesty during the many, many nursing sessions in public. Any nursing mother would appreciate one of these!

Tiny Love Clip and Go Mobile — This mobile is brilliant for new babies in their infant car seats (we hung it on the handle). This fun, musical device kept our babies occupied many, many a times while we tried on “just one more outfit” at the store.

JJ Cole Collection Essentials 5×5 Mat — We love giving these as baby shower gifts. This water-resistant blanket is perfect for taking to the park, older sibling’s ball games, the beach or even camping in the spring and summer. It’s also great because it folds in on itself for easy travel.

Dr. Brown’s Bottles – Have a fussy or colicy baby? You’ll see the wonders that these bottles do to cut back on gas and make your baby more comfortable. These bottles take a bit extra to clean but are soooo worth it.

SwaddleMe Infant Cotton Wrap — My babies slept swaddled for the first two months and it definitely helped them sleep better and longer. This is a good wrap since it is easy to use and has self-fasteners to keep it closed.

Shopping Cart Cover — Ever think of what nasty germs are on the shopping carts at the store? Then think of every time your baby touches the cart and then her hands go directly in her mouth. Or worse, when she tries to put her mouth directly on the shopping cart handle!! Now you understand the need for a shopping cart cover?
