Easy! Stylish! The Baby Trend Flex Loc Infant Car Seat is a triple threat. Everything about this seat was designed perfectly and was designed for ease of use. This has been rated the #1 infant car seat and it surely lives up to this accolade. The infant seat boasts an energy-absorbing foam core and is designed for infants weighing between 5 and 22 pounds and up to 28.5 inches in length. It is sturdy and fully padded for your baby's comfort. The seat retails for approximately $110.00 and is available in over 9 different styles. Included in the purchase of the Baby Trend Flex Loc Infant Car Seat is a car seat base. The base is LATCH ready and can be installed using the LATCH system or can be installed using the vehicles seat belts. Regardless of which system you use the base can be installed into the vehicle giving you the ability to easily remove the seat from the car while not disturbing your infant. To remove the infant seat when installed with the base there is a one-handed release button. Simply push the button and lift the seat and you are off. Located directly on the infant seat is an easy to read level indicator for proper installation. Moreover, the base has a four-position height adjuster for more precise installation. One of our favorite features on the seat is that it may also be secured into the car using only the infant seat and the car's seat belts. This is so important for a traveling family. With this feature you don't have to bring the base of the car seat through the airport making your luggage load 6lbs lighter. This is important also for anyone who will be moving your seat from car to car. This means that while you wont be lugging the base from car to car you also wont have to remove and reinstall the base each time you remove the seat. The Baby Trend Flex Loc uses a five-point harness with a chest clip to secure your infant. The harness is easily secured and making any adjustments to it are quick and simple. By simply pushing a button and pulling a strap the harness is either tightened or loosened. Just as simply the height of the harness can be adjusted as your child grows. Rather than hassling with rethreading the harness the Flex Loc uses an adjustable know located on the back of the seat. The Baby Trend Flex Loc Infant Car Seat has a rubber griped handle allowing you to grip the handle with ease. We found this feature to be so essential as it also allowed us to gently sway the seat back and forth lulling our infant to sleep. The seat is padded thoroughly and can be removed for easy cleaning. Also, included is a boot like blanket that attaches to the bottom of the seat for extra warmth.
