Full Review: see below   Lowest Price:  $75.95   (from 5 sellers) Full Review: This sturdy Ocean Wonders Aquarium Theme Cradle swing can calm the fussiest of babies with its variety of great features. This versatile swing soothes baby in two ways – back and forth like a swing or side to side like a cradle. If the swinging alone doesn’t soothe baby, there is music, aquatic sounds and lights to help. There’s an aquarium water globe with changing lights and swimming characters, and a mobile with four plush aquatic friends to keep baby entertained. Choose from six speeds, eight songs and three ocean sounds. The comfy seat reclines to two positions and the removable toy tray has a bead bar to keep baby entertained. We love the dual swinging option because we find that many babies actually prefer the side-to-side cradle swing that most swings do not offer. The seat cushion is very comfortable, durable and easy to clean. It has a two position recline seat and a removable toy tray with a bead bar. For added safety, it has the t-bar and the 3-point harness. The eight songs and three aquatic sounds (running water, raindrops, and waves) are not annoying to mom and provide a variety of sounds rather than the same song played over and over. You will find that babies moods change and may like the aquatic sounds some of the time, the music others, and sometimes no music at all. Fisher Price designed this swing to have the features all work independently. That way mom can use the swinging option without the music and the mobile…or the mobile without the swinging…and so forth. We are all about options with baby products because all babies are different and many moms know that when a baby is crying you will try anything and that may mean swinging with no music or vice versa. The mobile of hanging fish and the water globe seem to be a hit with babies. These toys, along with the simple bead bar, seem to be a perfect amount of toys for a swing. We think that a tray full of electronic toys is unnecessary, so Fisher Price has hit the nail on the head with this fun mobile and globe for babies to watch. Since there is no “perfect” swing, like all swings this one has some drawbacks. The motor is a little loud when the swinging option is on but definitely is nothing compared to a crying baby. It does swing rather fast for a small newborn but as we learned if you let a blanket dangle over one side it will slow the swing down. Once baby gets a little bigger, over 10lbs, the swinging speed is not an issue. The music function only lasts 7-10 minutes but mom can hit the reset button to continue the music without stopping the swinging motion. We wish Fisher-Price had left the music play indefinitely so that mom can decide when to turn it off even if that means wearing down the batteries.
