Looking for a portable feeding booster to take to grandma's house? Then look no further than the Fisher-Price Learning Booster. This feeding booster is a definite winner in our book. At the size of a potty seat, this booster isn't the most compact on the market, but by far the most sturdy, cleanable and safest booster to buy. This booster is for babies that can sit up unassisted but can accommodate older or larger children by removing the seat back and the tray. The 3 tray depth settings, 3 height settings, and the 3-point harness give babies and toddlers plenty of room to grow. To secure the booster to a chair, there are two straps, one that attaches to the back of a chair and one for the bottom of a chair. The straps on the back and bottom are pretty long and attach solidly to almost every chair that has a back with no problem. The three height adjustments are accommodating for different heights of tables. Moms with little time to clean will appreciate the booster's easy clean up. The booster's tray comes with a tray insert and a cover to ensure that the area stays clean during transport. Keeping this booster clean is incredibly easy with the dishwasher safe trays and no nooks and crannies to collect food and dirt. The smooth plastic seat is all one piece and very easy to wipe off. This feeding booster could be used as a full-time highchair if you are short on kitchen space. Many moms leave it strapped to a dining chair and baby eats along with the family every night. But don't forget that it is only as stable as the chair it's attached to. Traveling with this booster is a very easy. It's lightweight and comes with a carrying strap and is easy to take to restaurants and along while visiting friends. We encourage taking it to Grandma's house if there is no high chair there because there is nothing worse than chasing a toddler down and trying to feed her wiggling on your lap. This booster will give her her own space to either feed herself or keep her in one spot to make feeding easier. The Fisher-Price Learning Booster is exactly like the Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster except for the addition of the electronic tray toy that it comes with to entertain baby. We love the addition of the tray toy because it gives baby something to occupy and distract them while the rest of the family finishes their meal hopefully in peace. Since the toy attaches to the tray, mom doesn't spend the entire meal playing fetch the toy off the ground. The only drawbacks to this booster is that it does not recline, but it's not a feature that we miss since feeding boosters are meant for children that can already sit up unassisted. Also, the Healthy Care snap off tray could be removed by older toddlers that figure out how to pull up on it, potentially creating a mess. One way to prevent that is to teach her not to take it off or once the child gets to that point, remove the insert tray yourself and just use the tray. This easy-to-clean, portable, sturdy booster is great for restaurants especially for moms that are concerned about the germ-covered restaurant highchairs. This can also be an inexpensive and space saving way to go as an alternative to buying a full size high chair.
