The well thought out design is packed with lots of features and is super easy to use. My son enjoyed this chair from the first time we put him in it. Parents like the safety features that help keep little ones safe. These include a 5-point safety harness, crotch bar, and a wide base to prevent tipping (although it does take up a larger amount of floor space). The one handed tray release and one handed tilt for the back of the chair makes it easy to get baby in and out and adjust as needed. The highchair also has multiple heights which allows parents to comfortably feed smaller babies or boost larger ones up to table height. Initially, the smallest diners may sit a bit low in the chair and have a bit of difficulty reaching the toys. There is an insert that comes with the chair that helps to keep them a bit more forward. The highchair is also designed to be easy to clean in a variety of ways. First, the vinyl seat fabric wipes down easily (and is machine washable). Also, the straps are wipeable or machine washable and are designed to be easy to remove. In addition, there is a snap on tray that fits over the regular tray that can easily be popped into the dishwasher. One minor complaint is that the ribbon trim is a fabric that is not easily wipeable (although the last version, the Ocean model, had a fabric ruffle that trapped a lot of food, so this is still an improvement.) Other features that are nice are wheels for easy rolling (be careful though because they will scratch some wood floors) and a place on the back of the chair to store the snap-in tray and the toy as well. My child really enjoys the toys that came with this high chair and has yet to tire of them. They are designed to be easy to use for very young babies but still hold the interest of older babies. Although the Ocean model had a flatter toy, the Rainforest chair has a rather large toy that has vertical height to it. Babies do enjoy batting at it and enjoy the variety of lights and sounds but it is difficult for little ones to see over or around it if they are looking for you. There is a tethered toy that kids enjoy chewing on and it is easy to remove and clean as well. A small complaint--I have other Rainforest products (the playmat and crib toy) that I am not bothered by the music, but the music on this high chair annoys me. Most of all, I am annoyed by the constant monkeys hooting in the background (in the other toys, birds call and water rushes- more soothing noises!) The pattern of this chair is like all the other Rainforest products and is a very bright green with lots of animals. Considering children sit in it and don't really look at the pattern, I think it would be nice if a more neutral option was available. However, these are minor quibbles with an otherwise great product. I thoroughly recommend this chair to anyone that has the space for it. I think Fisher Price did a great job and really listened to what parents want and need in a highchair.
