This tandem stroller is a very sturdy workhorse stroller that is basically two Quattro Tour strollers in one very huge stroller. It has a high weight limit, accepting two children with a combined weight limit of 90 lbs. The Quattro Tour Duo has two roomy seats, each complete with a 5-point harness that can also be used as a 3-point. We’d love to see harness padding, but alas, there is none. The front seat has two recline positions, a weight capacity of 50 lbs and has a drink holder, a snack container, plus a mesh storage pocket under the seat. The rear seat is elevated a bit, has a 40 lb limit, three recline positions (including just shy of flat) and a cup/snack holder. When the rear seat is reclined completely there is also a large mesh window to allow air to circulate through the stroller. Graco didn’t forget mom on this stroller because there are two parent cup holders and a zipper pouch to keep keys, a cell phone and small personals handy. There are two independent canopies on the Quattro Tour Duo. The back canopy is very large with two side windows for your child to see out and a peek a boo mesh window for mom to see in. The front canopy is rather small but still sports the same side windows. The Tour Duo features a very large, easily accessible basket. Graco’s lower and load design allows you to access the basket even when the seat is fully reclined. Folding the stroller is very easy to do. It has a “one-hand gravity fold” that consists of just pushing a button, twisting the handle, and it effortlessly folds itself down to the ground locking itself automatically. Even though the Tour Duo is advertised to have a 20% smaller fold when closed than Graco’s other double stroller the DuoGlider, expect a rather large package when this stroller is folded. It will take up quite a bit of space in a large trunk. Be sure to check the folded size with the size of your trunk for a proper fit. With large 8-inch wheels, front wheel suspension and a single braking bar in back that we find much more convenient than having to lock each back wheel individually, the Quattro Duo provides a smooth ride for baby. The maneuverability on the other hand is a challenge. The Graco Quattro Tour Duo is a heavy-duty, beast of a stroller. Weighing in at 39 lbs, the Graco Quattro Tour Duo is the heaviest double stroller in the Graco line and you will feel the weight when you push it. The stroller is so large and heavy that we feel like we are pushing a semi when it’s fully loaded. (Note: You will be walking more than 4 feet from the front of the stroller.) The u-shape handle bar helps a bit with maneuvering but after pushing this stroller for a while, you will feel it in your wrists and arms. What’s it like pushing with near capacity weight? We will just say that you will avoid turning this stroller at all cost with 90 lbs aboard. The weight is also an issue when transporting. C-section mamas shouldn’t expect to be lifting this almost 40 lb behemoth into your trunk for quite a while. You will definitely need (or gain) a few more muscles moving this stroller around. The Tour Duo is a great stroller for twins because both the front and back seats will accept either the Graco Safeseat or the Graco Snugride infant carriers, making it a double travel system, and the car seats snap in rather easily. This tandem stroller is a very sturdy workhorse stroller that has some great features but will definitely weigh you down. If weight isn’t an issue with you, the Tour Duo’s large basket, two roomy seats, very easy fold, and the ability to accept 2 car seats at the same time, make this a decent option for a reasonably priced full size double.
