The Chicago-based company does such a good job making fashionable bags that don't look like diaper bags, that you'll see many women without kids carrying them. The bags are handcrafted from the finest quality Italian leathers and fabrics, and finished with exotic metal hardware and pliable leather straps. The Mia Bossi Reese is their newest addition to their bag line. It is a messenger style bag that is generously-sized to fit all your baby essentials, with various internal pockets and two outside pockets that secure with magnetic closures. Inside you will find five pockets: four open and one zipper pocket. The opening of the bag is large so that the contents are easy to find and quickly accessible. The long, adjustable strap is fabulous for shorter or taller moms and makes it easy to hang over a stroller handle. The adjustable strap also allows you to wear it across your body so that you are hands free. There is also a carry handle on top to allow mom to quickly and easily grab the bag. Our absolute favorite feature on the Reese is the zip-out lining that allows for quick cleaning. A genius feature of the zip-out lining is it's interchangeable with a padded laptop case insert (additional accessory) that turns the bag from baby bag to laptop bag in no time. This allows the Reese to transform from baby to office quickly and can thankfully be used long after you will be toting bottles, diapers and sippy cups for your child. The Mia Bossi Reese comes with a fur-lined changing pad. While we love-love-love the size of the pad, which is longer than most, and prevents mom from having to choose whether baby's head or butt lays on the dirty changing surface, we are concerned about the fur-lined feature. Even though it's machine washable, we think that fur and poop don't mix well. Moms don't have time to wash the diaper bag changing pad after every change so a wipeable pad would have been our pick. Yes, the fur might be comfy for baby for the minute or two of changing time, but it's going under baby's butt during the dirtiest time so the practicality of the pad isn't there. The bag as a whole is beautiful, classy and well-made. We commend Mia Bossi for making bags that don't scream diaper bag but advertise that we are still stylish even if we may not fit back into our pre-baby clothes just yet. The Mia Bossi Reese diaper bag is definitely for the hot, chic mama that is looking for a fabulous diaper bag that looks more like her designer handbag but with inside baby bag features.
