| Full Review: Baby shoes are one of our favorite baby gear categories, and Robeez top our list of favorite shoe makers. Their shoes are remarkably high quality, easy to get on, hard for baby to kick off, and impossibly cute.
While many other manufacturers have knocked off their design, no-one can match their quality. We've tried to save a few bucks and gotten cheaper versions, and always regretted it. The leather doesn't wear as well. Seams split. And worst of all, exposed pieces scratch our little babies' feet.
While the outside appeal of Robeez shoes are obvious, it's what's inside that really impress us. The inside of Robeez shoes are smooth and seam-free. The bottoms are non-skid. And they are insanely easy to get on.
It can be quite a shock to try and shove a regular shoe onto the inflexible baby foot, since babies don't know how to bend their foot into a shoe, and are more likely to kick you in the face while you try. Robeez shoes magically open like a giant flower, allowing you to fit them around a baby's foot, rather than try and stuff a baby's foot into them. And their elastic magic keeps baby's shoes on without pinching or digging into their sweet, chubby ankles.
The true test is in the wearing though, and while our babies generally even hate socks, they keep Robeez on, confirming to us that they are as comfortable as they appear.
The quality of Robeez can also be seen in their designs. While other crib shoes have characters and shapes on them, Robeez are stitched on with care and cuter than any others. We're mad for the brown bears, love the mermaids, and go ga-ga for the little dinosaurs. If Robeez made adult sizes, we'd be first in line!
