No matter how much I folded, crammed, tied, and pleaded the blanket would end up on the floor within minutes. The Secure2Me blankets solve this problem by attaching finger friendly and baby safe clips to each of the four corners of their blankets. The clips are easy to open and close. They also have tiny rubber pads that keep them secure without causing damage to fabrics. They do not open very wide so they will not clip over any plastic or metal on say a stroller frame. These blankets are incredibly versatile. Their unique shape allows them to fit on almost any type of baby gear including strollers, car seats, front pack carriers, baby swings, and bouncy chairs. They are large enough to fit both infants and toddlers, yet small enough to easily tuck into a diaper bag. I usually just collapse the stroller with the blanket still attached. Goodness knows I don't need another thing in my diaper bag. Furthermore, the Secure2Me blanket doubles as a nursing cover up. You can nurse with the confidence that the wind, your infant, or your older child won't be able to expose you. In addition to being very functional the Secure2Me blankets are also soft and beautiful. They come in both traditional baby pastels, and more modern colors. Many of the blankets are solid colors, but they do have some adorable polka dots and trendy florals. All of them are 100% Polyester with nickel clips. Don't let that fool you. The minky fabric is one of the softest, most luxurious fabrics I have ever felt. Blankets range from warm and plush for winter to medium weight that is perfect for fall and spring. The Eclipse blanket is designed specifically for summer use. It is exactly like the minky blankets except it is made from two layers of sheer Solarveil fabric. It is cool, lightweight, and chemical-free, but it is not very soft. The best thing about this particular blanket is it blocks 95% of harmful UVA/UVB rays. This helps protect little legs and feet that are often not shielded by the stroller canopy. All the blankets are machine washable and tumble dry on low. The minky blankets are a touch expensive at $42 each, but it is well worth the convenience and luxury. At $29 the Eclipse blanket is more moderately priced.
