Up standing or walking or just bouncing on my knee. He always wanted to look around and scan the room. Putting him in this next to me lets him look around - plus I get to see more than just the back of his head! He loves it. We've been using it since he was two months old and he's five months old now. We've also used it as a transitional high chair. The best part is sitting him at the entry to the kitchen and he just watches in awe as I make dinner. Before, he wouldn't let me put him down to get anything done. These chairs were so hot when they first came in we couldn't keep them on the shelf. thank god that has died down but they are still very popular. we have had alot of people coming in to buy the Prince Lionheart BeBe Pod instead but i can tell you the BeBe Pod has gotten returned alot because of the plastic piece in the front kept falling off. I think it is best to stick with Bumbo since they started it all anyway. I highly recommend it. Full Review: I got this as a gift and thought it seemed like a good idea until I actually used it. How stupid is this item? It jams your baby into a weird position and your baby will hate it. At least mine did. Once in it, the baby can't do anything. Can't reach their toys, can't sit on the counter for eating, it doesn't fold. I don't see the point of this product.
