We bought this for my 3rd daughter when she was 6 weeks old and she loved it from day one. She is now 5 months old and still enjoying this playmat. At the beginning, she just absorbed all the things around her on the playmat while cooing. As she got older, the mirror and the mobile were a hit. Now, she is all about grabbing the toys that hang on it. I think it's a great buy and a must have for moms! She has been using it since she was 6 weeks old. (She is now 5 months). At first she just layed there and cooed and then began to bat at the hanging toys, which she loved. The mirror mobile were also a hit at the beginning because she would stare at them for a while while cooing and smiling. Now, that she is 5 months, she is really playing with the hanging toys but I have a feeling as soon as she sits up on her own, she'll be done with the mat. It was totally worth the money for the 6 months use we will get out of it though because she really did love it.
