My favorite feature of this monitor is that the part that stays near the baby can be plugged in OR take batteries. Sometimes, my baby falls asleep in an inconvenient place for an outlet, so having the monitor with batteries is great because I can still get things done and hear her every breath. Worst: Short battery Full Review: This was the 2nd monitor I bought and I'm so happy that I have to look no further. The first monitor was horrible with static and interference but the iMonitor is the answer to my prayers. The signal is so clear that I finally hear nothing else but my baby in his room. The receiver part is small and easy to carry around. The rechargeable battery is a great feature, but beware it doesn't last long. I feel like I am always recharging the battery because it only lasts a few hours. This monitor is worth the short battery because it is so static free! The parent unit is small and easy to carry around or clip on your belt. The sound is fantastic! I don't hear any static, my neighbors or interference. It's super sensitive so I can hear any peep in my daughter's room. I love that the battery in the parent unit is rechargeable. It seems to have a very long range, even though I haven't taken it out of my yard. Great monitor!
