This Spring, pediped™ will introduce a new line of soft rubber-soled shoes for toddlers ages 2-5 years. Thinking that those who asked for the line would know best what to call it, pediped™ issued a request for help in naming this new collection and consumers enthusiastically responded. With over 1,000 unique names suggested, the final decision was a challenge. One name, however, did stand out - Flex. This name embodies the essence of what the line offers… soft, flexible soles providing for the ultimate in comfort for toddler's feet. The ultra-stylish and fashion-forward new line designed for active, growing preschoolers and kindergarten-age children is perfect for running, jumping and playing outdoors/indoors. In addition to soft, flexible soles, pediped Flex™ feature supple, premium-grade uppers, shock-absorbing air cushion technology (to protect against impact and distribute pressure throughout the foot), an ultra-flexible pedi flex-zone (to support natural foot motion and provide maximum flexibility) and a built-in arch support (to assist in the healthy development of growing feet). Incredibly six people (great minds think alike) suggested the Flex™ name: LaurieAnn Goodier of New Mexico, Jenn Michelle Pedini of Virginia, Kimberly Carrigan of Florida, Erika Wagner of Ohio, Robin Morris of Illinois and Allison Turnovitski of Canada. All will receive an assortment of pediped™ shoes for flexing their creativity and coming up with the winning name. Along with the Spring/Summer collection of pediped Originals™ (the company's original leather-soled line), pediped Flex™ will be available this March in fine children's retailers and selected department stores as well as online at www.pediped.com. Available in US children's sizes 6 to 12, the retail price range for the pediped Flex™ Collection is $38-$48.
