If so, do you have a favorite? -- Christine, Dallas, TX Dear Christine, While we confess we were much more germ phobic with our firstborns, and now barely blink when our kid drops his binky in the mud, we are BIG believers in using both shopping cart and restaurant high chair covers for all of our children. Since our babies weren't content unless they were sucking the germs off of whatever was in front of them, we were delighted to be able to cover the grossest things they came in contact with: shopping cart handles and restaurant seats. We loved when these products debuted several years ago, but we didn't love the giant size and garish patterns. Thankfully, there are a couple of more elegant choices on the market now. We've tried them all, and here are our hands-down favorites. Shopping Cart Cover: Buggy Bagg It's easy to attach, covers the entire cart, and in colors like jaguar and pink toile, what's not to love? Restaurant Chair Cover: Fisher-Price Portable High Chair Cover Made of a slick fabric that easily wipes clean, this high chair cover has all the essentials: a safety strap to attach it to the restaurant chair, loop holes to allow you to use the chair's restraint system, a compact fold, a small, convenient carrying bag, Velcro loops for baby's toys and a low, low price!
