As much as I’ve tried to deny it, Baby Chick is well on her way to becoming a toddler. It started with crawling, which quickly moved to pulling up, and has now escalated to a few attempts at her first steps. To say I am not ready to chase after two fully mobile children is a massive understatement.

I have given up on thwarting her efforts to become mobile and I am now embracing her persistence. In fact, I am so OK with it that I am even encouraging it. I’d like to think I’m just cool and relaxed about the whole thing, but I’m really trying to get her skills better developed so she’ll stop eating it every five minutes. The poor girl is looking so battered that I’m going to have to Photoshop all her baby pictures.
