You know how Chex Mix is addicting? And those chocolate Himalayan salt almonds from Target? Well, I’m here to tell you that these Valentine’s Day dipped pretzels are too! You’re going to love them! And so will everyone you gift them to for Valentine’s Day!

With a few simple ingredients you and your kids can turn your kitchen into a fabulous Valentine’s Day sweet shoppe! They’ll love being your dipping or sprinkle assistants and once they’ve cooled, they’ll be very happy taste testers too 🙂

Ingredients & Supplies

  • Double boiler or microwaveable bowl
  • Almond Bark
  • Vegetable oil
  • Bag of salted pretzels
  • Pink and red sprinkles
  • Parchment paper

Dipped Pretzel Snack Directions

Break the almond bark into pieces and melt in a double boiler or microwavable bowl. Stir until smooth and dipp-able. You may need to add a teaspoon or two of vegetable oil to get it really smooth. Carefully dip half of each pretzels into the almond bark and lay on the parchment paper to cool. Shake sprinkles onto almond bark half as soon as possible, before it cools.

Allow to cool for 1-2 hours before removing from parchment paper and serving or packaging.

It goes without saying that the melted almond bark is very hot. Be sure to have a “be careful around hot things” talk with your kids before you begin this project if they’re going to be involved in the dipping!
